Mental Health Center of Yunnan Province was founded in 1955. It was moved to No.733, Chuanjin Road, Kunming City from the original place at Changpo in the western suburb of Kunming in 1989. After more than 50 years of construction and development, it has developed into a large psychiatric hospital with a set of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and prevention. It is the Three-A psychiatric hospital in Yunnan Province, Kunming Medical University affiliated Mental Health Center and also a training base of the psychiatric resident standardization and nurse profession in Yunnan Province.
