The Third People's Hospital of Neijiang(Neijiang Downtown District People's Hospital) was awarded as "Civilized Hospital" by Sichuan Provincial Health Department in 1988, Civilization Unit in Neijiang City in 1990, the Best Civilization Unit in Neijiang City in 2000 and Baby-friendly Hospital in 1996. It was approved as a national Two-A hospital by Sichuan Provincial Health Department in May 2001 and passed the review in 2012.
