Xunyang County Hospital was founded in 1950. It was approved as a Two-A comprehensive hospital by the Ministry of Health in 1996 and passed  Two-A hospital evaluation of Health Department of Shaanxi Province in 2009. The hospital covers an area of 24018 square meters and owns medical buildings of 37459 square meters and fixed assets of 250 million yuan. It is one of 500 important supported prefectural comprehensive hospitals approved by the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China.
